Julianne Furniss-Green

Psychotherapist & Licensed Clinical Social Worker

LCSW

Specialties: Jules draws from multiple therapeutic modalities in order to meet each client where they are and support them through their unique journey with empathy, authenticity, and care. While grief and loss are her primary specialties, Jules works with clients experiencing a wide range of challenges and life transitions such as anxiety, depression, overwhelm, professional stressors, relationship challenges, fertility and reproductive health struggles, and the transition to parenthood.

Location: Work with Jules in Westport or virtually.

Julianne’s path to this work has been shaped by both her clinical experience and her personal understanding of the profound impact loss can have on a person’s life. Before joining the Indigo team, Jules was a patient at Indigo while undergoing fertility treatments. This experience gave her a unique perspective on the uncertainty, vulnerability, and emotional complexity that often accompany infertility and reproductive health journeys. It also deepened her belief in the importance of compassionate, connected care.

Jules approaches therapy with warmth, authenticity, humor, and compassion. Drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, she tailors her approach to meet the unique needs and goals of each client. Above all, she prioritizes the therapeutic relationship, believing that feeling safe, understood, and genuinely connected is one of the most important foundations for healing and growth.

Outside of the therapy room, Jules lives in Fairfield, Connecticut, with her husband and son. No matter the season, you can often find her at the beach.

Jules sees clients in Indigo’s Westport office and virtually throughout Connecticut.
