GLP1 THERAPYA METABOLIC APPROACHweight management & GLP-1’s
a metabolic approach
Sustainable weight change starts with understanding what's actually happening in your body. For many women, hormonal shifts, insulin resistance, and metabolic changes are the real drivers behind why weight becomes harder to manage — not a lack of effort. Our nurse practitioner works with you to identify what's driving the change and build a plan around it, whether that includes a GLP-1 medication or another evidence-based approach.
WHOLE PERSONCARE
"So many women come to me after years of being told to just try harder. What they actually need is someone to look at their hormones, their labs, and their whole picture. GLP-1 medications can be a powerful tool, but they're a tool — not a plan.
My job is to build the plan around you, protect your muscle and bone while you're on it, and make sure what we build together still works a year from now."

glp1 therapy + weight management
Medical weight and metabolic care at Indigo Wellness focuses on the hormonal and metabolic root causes behind weight change, so you build a stronger, more resilient body — not just a smaller number on the scale.

Expect a collaborative partnership. Your first visit includes a comprehensive review of your health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, prior efforts to manage weight, medications, and goals. Nicole will review any existing labs and recommend additional testing when appropriate to build a full picture of your metabolic health. Together you'll discuss whether a GLP-1 medication is the right fit, review your options, and leave with a clear plan. Ongoing visits focus on adjusting your dosing as your body responds, preventing and managing side effects, optimizing protein intake, and supporting strength, bone health, and metabolic function throughout treatment.
