Before becoming an acupuncturist, Marcy spent much of her life on stage. A singer, actor, and dancer from a young age, musical theater was her first love before she found herself drawn to the world of integrative medicine. Her own experiences navigating chronic health challenges and frustration with the limitations of the conventional medical system led her to discover acupuncture and herbal medicine. The profound impact it had on her health inspired a career change and a deep commitment to helping others find the same support and healing.
Marcy is a board-certified practitioner in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology through the National Certification Board for Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM) and is licensed to practice in Connecticut. She earned both her Master's and Doctorate degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science, graduating among the top of her class.
Following graduation, Marcy completed a prestigious year-long fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in New York City. During her fellowship, she provided integrative care to diverse inpatient populations across multiple medical units, working alongside physicians and healthcare teams in a hospital setting. This experience deepened her appreciation for collaborative medicine and continues to influence her thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care.
Marcy creates a warm and supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and empowered. She believes that healing begins when patients are given the space to share their stories and be treated as whole people rather than a collection of symptoms. Utilizing acupuncture, herbal medicine, electroacupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, and personalized lifestyle recommendations, she develops thoughtful treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs. Additional training includes Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, Dr. Tan's Balance Method and Tu'lix/Arvigo Mayan Abdominal Massage.
Her own journey with endometriosis and years of infertility sparked a particular passion for women's health and fertility care. Having personally experienced the emotional and physical challenges that often accompany these conditions, Marcy brings both clinical expertise and genuine empathy to her work. She is dedicated to helping patients navigate fertility, hormonal health, acute and chronic pain, digestive concerns, allergies, and emotional well-being with compassion and evidence-informed care.
Marcy also has a particular interest in cosmetic facial acupuncture, which beautifully combines her love of helping patients feel well with helping them feel confident in their skin. She has completed advanced training in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and spent several years working alongside Shellie Goldstein, one of the leading experts in the field. She loves helping patients achieve natural, healthy-looking results while supporting overall wellness, stress reduction, and healthy aging from the inside out.
Marcy lives in Fairfield with her husband, two daughters, and her beloved Cavapoo, Penelope. When she's not in the treatment room, there's a good chance she's planning her next trip to Disney World, talking about Disney World, or helping someone else plan their trip to Disney World. Patients have been known to leave appointments with both an acupuncture treatment plan and a few Disney travel tips. She loves creating magical experiences for her family, finding joy in everyday moments, and helping others feel their best so they can fully enjoy the lives they're building.
At her core, Marcy is passionate about helping people move from simply getting through their days to truly feeling well, supported, and hopeful about what's possible.
