No Commute, No Waiting Room: New Virtual Pelvic Floor PT

We're excited to let you know that we’re now offering virtual pelvic floor physical therapy, designed specifically for pregnancy, birth prep, and the postpartum period.

If you're pregnant or newly postpartum, your pelvic floor is working harder than it ever has. And yet, it's one of the most overlooked parts of prenatal and postpartum care, often because getting to appointments feels impossible when you're managing a newborn, navigating a complicated pregnancy, or just utterly exhausted.

That's exactly why we built this offering.

But first: what even is pelvic floor PT, and why does it matter right now? Think of it this way: if you've ever leaked a little when you sneeze or laugh, felt pelvic pressure or pain, had sex that hurts, or wondered how on earth you're supposed to push during labor, that's your pelvic floor asking for support. Pelvic floor PT is the specialty that actually addresses those things. It's not just Kegels. It's real, personalized care for one of the hardest-working parts of your body.

Our virtual pelvic floor PT sessions connect you one-on-one with our Doctors of Physical Therapy. This means full access to PTs who specialize in this season of life, from wherever you are. No commute, no waiting room, no finding a babysitter. Just personalized, evidence-based guidance delivered to you.

What to expect:

  • Birth preparation & labor coaching

  • Pelvic pain & painful sex

  • Leaking when you sneeze, laugh, or move

  • Core & abdominal recovery (diastasis recti)

  • Postpartum recovery guidance

  • Bladder & bowel concerns

  • Getting back to exercise safely

Whether you're in your second or third trimester trying to stay comfortable, or six weeks postpartum wondering why no one warned you about any of this, these sessions meet you where you are, in every way.

A note on virtual care: Our virtual sessions are excellent for education, birth preparation, symptom guidance, movement coaching, and postpartum recovery planning. Because we're working with you remotely, we're not able to perform internal pelvic floor muscle assessment. If that level of hands-on evaluation is needed, we'll help you navigate your next steps.

Most people are surprised by how much can be accomplished in a virtual session. The conversation alone (like, having a Pelvic Floor physical therapist actually listen to your symptoms, your birth history, your goals) changes things. Add in a movement assessment and a personalized plan, and you leave with real direction.

Your body just did (or is doing) something extraordinary. It deserves more than a six-week clearance and a "you're good to go." Please send this to new mamas or mamas-to-be.
